Suggestion for a tall train/activity table?

We bought DS a really nice wooden train table for his 4th birthday in May. The problem is, it's too low for him -- he prefers to play standing up. I've looked everywhere I can think of for a train or activity table that's around 3 feet high (and not made in China) . . . any ideas? TIA!

Two thoughts. Elevate the table wth bedrisers or two by fours, carefully secured, of course. Second (much more expensive) option is Potery Barn Kids that has a very nice slightly higher play table.

Good luck

It's a very nice height and spacious.

We made one for about sixty bucks. A piece of nice plywood and some paint for the table part, and iron pipe (painted red) for the legs. I chose 24" legs, but I'm pretty sure there was a 36" bin at Lowe's, too.

I made one. Kids now use it for Legos.
