Used to use Sigg but a funky smell kept happening in it. Blech.

Have to get another though (dc's preschool makes us pack two separate bags. One for morning snack and one for lunch. It's a pain in the bum.

I've been wondering about the sports cap on KK but don't know if it leaks.
We've got the sports top for the KK and it works just fine. I like that they are not lined with plastic (looks to me like the Sigg are some kind of plastic on the inside). DD does drink through the plastic sports top, just cuz its easier for her to manage than the screw top lid. The shiny smooth sides of the KK are just begging for some super funky stickers!

sigg bottles are not lined with plastic. the company prides itself on reducing plastic consumption. the lining components are proprietary, but have been tested and do not leech.

We just threw out all of our Nalgene and Camelback water bottles. It was a painful thing to do, but we have been watching the research and it appears that next to PVC, polycarbonate plastic (used for Nalgene) is the worst of the plastics to drink from. This research has been rejected repeatedly for several years, but there has come to be a turn around of acceptance in this dangerous material. I guess buying junk water out of Pepsi bottles is a better alternative.

Sigg bottles are great, but highly expensive. We just found a company at the natural food store that puts out a stainless steel bottle that compares to Sigg...EnviroProducts is the company and they are about 1/2 the price!
