We rented this movie today and LOVED it!! HILARIOUS!!! sweet family story.. AND... a homebirth involving TWINS!!! I was super shocked and surprised to see a homebirth in it but soo happy.. figured Id share!! and it didnt show them going to the hospital or some crap afterwards either!! KUDOS TO ICE CUBE lol

WOW! I didn't know there was a HB in that movie! I never had a desire to see it, but that's pretty cool! Was it a planned HB or one of those "OMG *puff*puff* the baby is coming so fast *pant*pant* we'll never make it to the hospital in time!" homebirths you see on TV all the time?

Its a sequel to the "Are We There Yet?" with Ice Cube. Basically, he marries the girl from the first movie and becomes step daddy.. find out his wife is pregnant with twins and they buy a house in the country to raise the family but its a dud and they are fixing it up and the realtor is also the contractor in the area and a million other job titles and drives Ice Cube nuts! Its a cute family story. Its fairly new.. It just came out to rent on demand (our cable companies pay per view type thing).

The HB in it was brought up by the mom earlier in the movie and the dad was like no way but in the end she was too late into labor and it turned into a HB but she wanted it that way. So it showed the side of HB as being something people choose to do. The only somewhat weird part IMO is that the midwife was a man lol.. (also the realtor lol..) my dh wants to be a midwife though lololol..
