seriously though, I am at a loss of ideas here. I know I'll write about circumcision and loss of sexual function and the growing trend of viagra prescribed to treat it, but not sure what else..not even sure that first one is even controversial. but some man out there will proabably be offended that he was basically robbed of his manhood.

If I had to write something, oh both topics I'd write about are banned here kink and sexuality and parenting

My biggest "Controversy" talk usually stems around personal responsibility...the idea that everyone has someone else to blame for any of their short-comings, misdeeds or plan old asshat-ery...

• It's the McDonald's corporation's fault that I'm obese.
  
• My father was an abusive alcoholic, that's why I'm mean to my kids.
  
• That stupid girl I slept with went and got herself pregnant and ruined my life...

You get the idea...no one ever wants to take personal responsibility for the state of their being, it seems.

That's what I'd write about, if I were trying to get people fired up.

My favorite controversial subjects are children's rights, medical freedom, neurodiversity, homeschooling, and family relationships. Of course, you should only write on these subjects if you agree with me.

I would write about something that I know a lot about and have a clear stance on like abortion, breastfeeding vs formula, medical marijuana, circumcision etc. Whenever I had a paper like that in college I picked a topic that fires people up on both sides lol. Yeah Im a pot stirrer

You know this thread remindes me of something I did for my GED. We had to write an essay for part of the english portion of the test, and we could pick our own subject. The topic I picked was pro-legalization of marijuaina. I wrote in favor of legalizing it, and also wrote about it's medicinal uses and the fact that cigarettes and alcohol cause just as much damage as good 'ole pot does. The funny thing was when they called back with the scores, I had received one of the highest ones they had ever seen. I was quite proud of myself, and nothing was said to me about the controversial subject matter of my essay.
