Oatmeal bath for eczema: how do you...

get your toddler's arms to get enough time in the oatmeal water? I don't know about you, but my 2 year old doesn't quite yet fancy a long, relaxing, lying-down soak. I'm lucky to even get him to sit down for any length of time. But at least his feet get a nice oatmeal bath!

I just make the water about chest-deep and watch him like a hawk. His arms still don't usually get much, though.

When my dd was younger, I did what Kayaking Mama did. Now that she's almost 3, she enjoys pretending to swim in the tub, lol.

I used to put a cup of oatmeal into a sock, tie off the top, toss it into the bathwater and squeeze it while the tub was filling. Then I'd pull it out of the bathwater and squeeze the oozy oatmeal out of the sock and onto DD's arms.
