She arrived safe and sound at home this morning, just after 6 a.m. The labour only took about 5.5 hours, with just one brief hiccup at the start of the pushing phase - but 10 minutes under a hot shower sorted that out!
She clocked in at a hefty 4200g (about 9.25 pounds) and wanted to do nothing but nurse for the first 4 hours of life. We are both doing very well and she is
peacefully resting now in her basket - long may it continue!
In fact the only problem is that we have not figured out her name yet!
