Wednesday- 4 fillings...

So, T has had more dental work than some adults;

2 "false" teether in front where he fell and killed his teeth.
3 pulpectomies
3 normal fillings
1 abcess and pull

I took him yesterday and he has 4 cavities. One of them may end up being a pulpectomy.

Good grief.

Oh, and t tells everyone he love the dentist. Why? Because he gets the "happy nose" when he goes.

Wow, poor guy thats alot of dental work.
Sounds like the "happy nose" is doing its job with him!
So no caps for him on the pulps? I thought it went hand and hand for baby teeth?

Oh, he has the caps. ANd then he has a spacer for the tooth that was pulled. There is a wrap around the very back tooth to keep the spacer in place.

We call him "metal mouth".

Dd's got bad teeth and will have to undergo G.A. to get everything fixed - probably 2 crowns and 3 fillings. When the time comes, I'll probably have to explain that her teeth need a "suit of armor... like a knight!".

T's 2 front teeth had pulpectomies....so I guess he has had 2 more...anyway, they put him under GA to do the work However, they gave him a drink to make him sleepy before they did the GA and that part was pretty funny, well, as funny as it could be. He kept saying funny things. I felt kinda bad for him but he kept getting the funniest grin on his face. He wasn't even 2.

Yikes, that is alot.
How old is he?
When did all this start? I bet you cant wait for his adult teeth to come in and pray they are stronger than the baby teeth.
