Finally! Hiccups... But....

I think babe finally has the hiccups.

After all that wondering about why babe hasn't had any hiccups (like is something wrong that it's not trying to breathe yet?) and now that s/he has them I realized... this is really pretty annoying!

I have never felt hiccups with any pregnancy! It's annoying though? Is it as bad as having them yourself?

Yup, super annoying! This babe has them almost daily... and sometimes they make it hard for me to concentrate on anything! When I was painting the dining room, I'd be trying to very carefully do some edging around the trim, and I couldn't be still enough to do a good job...

What does it feel like? I don't think I would know she was hiccupping...

I have light rhythmic kicks sometimes, is that it?

I don't feel them at all this time, but with my dd I swear she constantly had hiccoughs! When she was born, she hiccoughed constantly for a few weeks.

Aimee-

I felt the baby having hiccups for the first time a couple weeks ago. At first I thought it might just be the baby taping lightly. I am positive it is hiccups though. It is rhythmic and I can tell were the baby's head is when it is happening.

Last time the baby had hiccups DH could feel and hear them !

Yes! That's it!
I actually LOVE the hiccups, which this babe gets like 3 or 4 times a day. I love them because, after having a breech baby, the hiccups are constant reassurance that this babe is head down!

I have to share. A few weeks ago babe had hiccups. It was startling the babe so I was getting hiccups vibration down my cervix and kicked in the ribs at the same time. It felt very weird and I couldn't help but laugh.

Mine had that a while back, like around 20 weeks or so, I think.... it woke me up. My whole belly would spasm every couple seconds. If my friend had not warned me about the hiccups, I would've been very worried cuz I wouldn't have known what the heck was going on!

The babe's head is so low all the time and facing my left, so I had the rhythmic tap, tap, tapping going on for a few minutes way low and a little to the left at the cervix area and it was almost tickling me or... well it was uncomfortable and annoying there. But fun too

Then she had them last night! They were agitating her pretty bad. I longed to be able to burp her or something!
