I tried to sign up a while back, but they won't let anyone on from my ISP b/c they were getting tons of spam from others who used the same ISP and they have no way to identify the individual spammers.

I used to be on DA, but many people on there are less then honest...I, and many classmates of mine when we were in college, had lots of people steal art and claim it as their own. I sell many of my pieces and they are all originals, so other people out there claiming my work is a problem. Put a copyright on your work, or somehow label it as your own. It is sad that it has to come down to that, but...

yeah i have a watermark on all my stuff, fwiw. i wouldn't put it up without. so if anyone wants to steal images, they're gong to really have to work at it.
