Concerned about my gums

I'm worried about my gums - I've had a little bit of bleeding with brushing recently and a bit of swelling at one spot for a few days that spontaneously resolved. I brush twice a day with nonfluoridated toothpaste. I try to remember to floss each night and I'm getting better about it. I've had no major issues with my teeth and I have a family history of very good teeth, even with poor nutrition and hygeine. I'm just worried that the bleeding is a sign of something starting.

I've also noticed some sensitivity in my molars recently. I just had a molar sealed because it had the beginnings of a cavity (my first). The dentist didn't mention anything about any others, but he said that my molars have very deep ridges.

Should I be concerned? Is there anything I can do to make sure my teeth and gums stay healthy?

Do you use mouthwash at all? When my gums are sore, Listerine helps me. There are also several natural mouthwashes you could try if you don't want to use Listerine (Jason, Natural Dentist, etc)
