wow, how familiar is this?!? I regularly get 'Go away! You're not the right mother! I want Mama! I won't let you wipe my face Mom Beth! I WON'T let you get me dressed!' along with full scale crying, pouting and pissed off 2.5 yr old! For us it's because my wife leaves first and comes home last and she just misses her and wants as much attention from her as she can get.
But ya know, even though I'm the adult and I rationally KNOW all that, it is incredibly frustrating to be told to go away all the time and to be pushed away and to not be able to participate as fully as I'd like to in the parenting stuff. We do fun stuff together and love our time together. For us it's NOT about not having time alone together it's just about her needing Mama when she's home and not being able to control what's going on around her.
I know how you feel Tinas3muskateers. It's really wearing to have a child constantly pushing you away regardless of the reason. Hugs to you.
