Hi everyone,
Our DS3 arrived almost six weeks early on the 14th of September. He is still in the NICU - doing very well except for having trouble waking up enough to eat so is being fed through NG tube. It has been an exhausting couple of weeks with all the back and forth between home and hospital. We are really hoping he takes off with the eating soon but so far he just isn't ready. He was 5 pounds 7 ounces, 18 1/2 inches long, and was 34w3d gestation. He will have to take all feeds from either bottle or breast and gain weight for 2-3 days before he can come home.
ETA: On a happy note, I did get my VBAC that I was hoping for and also avoided an epidural, although I sure was questioning myself on that one as I was pushing him out!
