Flutterbye Garden

I'm not sure what I think... I'll let you decide.

I ordered some Baby Greens fleece topped hemp doublers and a dozen premium unbleached cpfs from Flutterbye Garden on June 25th. I immediately got an email from Chris asking if I wanted the cpfs drop shipped from Green Earth, or if I would mind waiting until she got her order. I replied that I'd like whichever way I would get them fastest.
I got the doublers in a timely fashion, and sent her an email on July 9th, asking when I could expect the cpfs. She told me I should already have them and she'd check with Green Earth about it and get back to me soon.
After a few days and no further information, I emailed her again. She replied that she had a call in and was waiting for a response from Green Earth.
All further questions I sent regarding when the diapers were shipped and when I could expect to receive them either got no response, or her response was to ask me if I had received them yet.
I finally had enough of this, and asked for a refund if they were not on their way here yet. To this, I got no reply. So I sent her a pm here at MDC after a few days, which never was opened or answered.
I then called Green Earth myself (but left a message and never did hear back from them either), posted about my problem online, and filed a complaint with PayPal, since you only have 30 days from the original purchase in which to do that (it had already been 26 days with no end in sight)... And finally got my money refunded, and an explanation that UPS must have lost my original package, but that Green Earth was sending me another (which still hasn't arrived, but when/if it does, I will pay her what I owe for them).
At the very least, this was the worst case of poor communication ever. Though, where the communication broke down originally I have no way of ever knowing. What I *do* know is that I needed those diapers a month ago, and am now waiting for a package which may or may not ever show! :

update - situation resolved

My diapers finally arrived July 30, over a month after I had ordered them. It appears Green Earth had the wrong address.
I did not get a second package. What I received looks to be the original package that had been attempted to be delivered to the wrong address, with a new label stuck over the first one. It was not sent overnight, as I had been told it would, but ground. It was not resent last Monday, but rather a week later.

Green Earth never returned my call to explain their mistake, but instead let Chris take the blame. But Chris is the one from whom I bought those diapers, and she neglected to answer my questions or reply to my emails.

i ordered some little woolen gnomes! They came quickly and my son loves them. I also received a little silk playscarf, which is sweet because it isn't the kind of thing i would have bought myself. the little gnome dolls are irresistibly cute, stuffed with natural wool and with little wooly beards! After only 1 day tristan walks around "boobing" them.

There was a nice handwritten card with the package. I will definitley do business at Flutterbye Garden again.

I had a great transaction with Chris.

I ordered from her store and when I had some trouble using the cart she e-mailed back and forth with me to help me get my order placed (and the response was within minutes). She had a FANTASTIC discount for MDC mamas and it saved me a lot of money.

My package arrived quickly, all wrapped up like a present. She even sent along a handwritten note and a freebie of natural diaper detergent.

It was an excellent transaction, and I will definitley do business with her again.
