Next MW appt is my Homevisit!

Time is flying! My next appt is my homevisit! I have so much to do between now and then I can't see how it will possibly all get done! :

I had a good MW appt yesterday. Baby continues to be head down (right occiput anterior), moving well, kicking the doppler etc.

The only bad thing is that I have to have another U/S because I opted to have one at 20 weeks and at that time they "couldn't fully visualize the heart" because of the baby's position. Everything else was normal so I don't think there's anything wrong and said so to my MW. She agreed but she feels pretty strongly that I should have another. I guess it's a CYA thing for her, but really! I just should have declined the first one.

Wow - home appts already! Ours isn't till the last week of October (last time we had none prior to our HB!) and we're due Nov 2nd!

I'm sure you u/s will be fine - and at least it's just one more.

Our home visit is coming up in 4 weeks - week 36. It's good to have that deadline to be prepared for everything, knowing the baby probably won't come for several more weeks.

I have to get a CYA u/s at 36 or 37 weeks too - they want to check that the placenta has moved up more. It was 2 cm away from the cervix at 23 weeks (from over the cervix at 11). I'm not worried, and neither is my m/w, but she still wants me to get the u/s for everyone's peace of mind. Fine, I'll do it.

I had my home visit on Tuesday. We're all gearing up for the babies to arrive really any day now. Today is 35 weeks for me! I'm happy to have made it to here and am counting the days- 7 more would be good, 14 would be better, more than that might be what the babies prefer... Who knows? But I know they're big and seem to be doing very well. I'm just getting so full of babies now! It's starting to slow me down- just when I know I need to get all the loose ends tied up. (Sorry if this is a hijack!)

Enjoy your home visit!

my home visit w/ MW is next appt too...next week. i have a lot of straightening/cleaning to do. i do NOT have the energy for it most of the time. tom (fiance) really gets annoyed w/ my lack of energy...the last MW appt seemed to clarify for him WHY i am so darn tired...i am tired even when NOT pg though...due to depression issues (and probably from putting up w/ his b.s. most of the time...it gets me down....) and really i think there is more in life than being concerned about a clean and organized home. he is a hipicrite anyway as he doesn't pick up after himself. i'm just at home more as is my dd, so of course our things are more abundant than his. argghhh he is on my poop list today as you can see. anyway, i AM happy w/ my MW and her asst. and also i chose a doula whom i like a lot too. lots of woman energy for birthing.

Our home visit is October 19!: I'll actually only be 34 weeks, 5 days but our other midwife is going to be going out of town for a few days right around 36 weeks. Better to get it taken care of early... Then, I'll ask baby to sit tight for 3 more weeks!

Yep, it'll be week 36 for me too. And the U/S will be next Friday. I don't really want it b/c I *feel* like everything is fine, but then again, I'm not going to fight it and also I *would* rather know before hand if there are any issues. Then I can be prepared to transport after the birth etc if need be.

That is my problem exactly. TOO much to do and not enough energy to do it all! Well, germs are good for the immune system, so I can get over the cleaning part of it but my clutter (and dh's) is driving me crazy!

Yup my next visit is the home visit too - set for 10/13. We have everything, just need to get it all together and do a good house cleaning.

My last visit was my home visit- last week at 33 weeks. I had just about everything together in time, but was missing a few little details. It was cool because the MW had me totally rethink where I was going to set up my birth pool. So now I need to figure that out and to a test run.

At the previous appt where we set up the home visit and I was asking what they'll be looking for, she said that they had only had one time where they went to a house and said, basically, no, you are not birthing here- I SO did not want to be couple #2! :

I have an appt next week at 35w and then I think I go to weekly visits!!! Wowza!!!
