Baby GIRL!!!

She's due on Valentine's Day, which I think makes it even more lovely that she is a little girl.
The weird thing is that I "knew" it was a girl. DH and I both did, from the moment of conception really, but there was still a minute of adjusting to the idea of a girl, I think just because our first is a boy. It feels like starting from scratch as a parent, because DS and I have a great relationsip that I know how to handle, but I have never been a mother/daughter relationship, as the mother, anyway, so i am kind of adjusting to the idea. But after having thought about it for several hours now, I can't stop thinking about holding my little girl in my arms this Feb.
Yea for our babies, mamas!!
The other funny thing about "knowing" it was a girl was that, at first, in the scan, she was sleeping and with the umbilical cord between her legs, she looked like she might be a boy. The tech even went as far as saying, "I think you have a boy!" DH and I just looked at each other, smiling for our baby, but my mind was going, "There's no way this baby is a boy. I just know that is not right." After looking at some other things, the little one started to move by the end, and we got several clear shots. The tech said, "oh, now I can see clearly...definitely a girl."
How's that for a mother's intuition!
