Ok, I know I can't be the ONLY person out there that is hooked on Paradise Hotel (though maybe the only one stupid enough to admit it)!! So come on, what reality TV shows do you follow, and which drive you crazy? Sorry if I missed any out!

I'll sheepishly admit that I have loved the Real World since the first New York season. I also love the Osbornes. :

Okay, okay, I am a reality tv junkie. It's not something I would normally admit, but I watch several. In my defence, I am 34 weeks pregnant, we are in the middle of a heatwave, and my house has absolutely no air circulation (and air conditioning is beyond even the realm of fantasy). All I really want to do after ds goes to bed is lounge on the futon in front of the fan, eat ice cubes, and and watch tv while I thumb through baby name books. I have been watching Amazing Race 4 (I loved all the seasons so far and would watch no matter what), For Love Or Money 2, Cupid, Marry My Dad, Big Brother 4, Canadian Idol, and occasionally Last Comic Standing. Wow, I think I need to get a life LOL.

Laurie, I'm right there with you- also pregnant (37 wks) and in a house with no air-conditioning!! All I want to do of an evening is rest in my recliner with my poor swollen ankles risen. And what a better distraction than reality TV!! lol Have to say, you're missing out big time if you are not watching Paradise Hotel though They don't come much tackier than that!!

Okay, I picked Real World, cause that's the only one that applies right now. I loved American Idol 2 and I've been watching some of Cupid. I thought the first show was funny, but they've been getting increasingly weak.
My favorite reality TV show now though is 'Project Greenlight'. The two director's are real pain's in the butt and it's fun to watch them mess everything up.
I also just saw Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and I loved it. And I also like the UK version of What Not to Wear.
I'm hopeless!

I love The Mole, Survivor, Amazing Race, American Idol, I still love Cops, Animal Cops, Animal Precinct (though the last 2 sometimes make me cry). Why did you call the topic "sad reality"? I find these shows refreshing, so much better then mindless sitcoms with stupid jokes (Seinfeld excluded).
*sigh* I'm a closet Big Brother fan. I even read the newsgroup regularly when it's going on.

Other than that, I must always watch Amazing Race.

The last Real World I liked was 4 (?) in London. Despite that, I kept up with the first few episodes of this season, but the people on it just make me sick.

There was no option for "none".

I did watch an episode or two of the Osbornes and the last two Africa Survivor episodes. Then I got to thinking that I would rather be out living life than watching the "reality" of it all on a much smaller screen.

Just my opinion....

Just The Osbournes for me. I can honestly say that I have never even been tempted to watch any other "reality" show.
I think I saw a bit of Survivor once.

You need a None option, because that's what I'd choose.

juicylucy

I am glad to know that I am not the only hot'n'sweaty pregnant mama lounging around watching these shows LOL. I will have to check out Paradise Hotel (as long as it doesn't interfere with the list I am already watching :LOL ). Anything to take my mind of the aches and pains of late pregnancy (which have been hitting me hard lately).

I am more a soap opera fanatic than a reality TV fanantic. I watch the Real World occasionally but that's about it. I did watch a couple of episodes of this season's Big Brother too. Oh! There is this show that comes on after Big Brother on Tuesday, I think, called Cupid. I really dig that show.

I LOVE Paradise Hotel, but hate Toni, have since she was on the last show Fox did with them on a Boat. I like all the twists they keep giving them...
Toni was on another reality show?!

I despise that insecure broad.

Um, I'm Chaka and I'm obsessed with Paradise Hotel.

I actually prefer watching "reality" shows to scripted (well, admittedly scripted ) shows. There are a few sitcoms I watch, but if I've got the TV on, it's mostly "reality" tv.

I liked For Love or Money, but don't watch the second one. I think they took it too far and Erin is stupid for putting herself in that position. (like a guy will pick sex...ok, "love"...over a million bucks. : I'm sorry, but if I love you, we have a future after I take the money.)

I sorta liked Cupid, but I don't watch it regularly. The auditions were hilarious!

I don't watch The Real World anymore. They get worse ppl every year.

I think The Osbournes pretty much sucks, now. I don't like selling family moments to the highest bidder, either. I mean, one season...okay. 2 or more...get another way to pay your bills. Besides, those kids need to be reigned in. They're annoying to watch.

The Amazing Race I have trouble getting into. I mean, am I the only one who saw the movie, Rat Race? Talk about hilarious! The show does nothing for me and I want it to be more like the movie...sigh.

I've never liked Survivor.

Oh! I loved Big Brother 3, but am having a hard time getting into 4. Maybe b/c Paradise Hotel is usually on at the same time.

I also like the Animal Precinct and Animal Cops shows. Animal Planet rules!!!

Okay, I'm finished breakin' it down for y'all. :LOL

A couple of years ago, Fox did the samething, except on a cruiseship, Toni was on there, caused alot of fights, tantrums, and basically everything she does now, I cant remember the name of the show, the last couple on that got a million dollars, and I think a dream vacation...

I dunno if this counts, but dh and I always watch the Eco Challenge when its on, but that's only once a year, oh and dh is so into the World Poker Tour!

One season when it was set in Boston I watched the real World. But all of the other shows here I've never seen.

You left out a whole bunch of shows that I consider Reality TV. I like Trading Spaces and basically like many of the other similar type shows like Pros & Cons, What not to wear, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. OK, they are extremely superficial and heavily edited but I still think they're fun if taken with a grain of salt.
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was pretty horrid, the one time I watched it. They "made over" an artist for his gallery showing, or something like that. Even he was annoyed with those men. The faces he made! It was sad... Even tho he was cuter, in the end.

I like the British Faking It, when I watch.

What is Pros&Cons about? I haven't heard of that one...

My week has pretty much sucked since Paradise Hotel only came on on Monday.
