Just a vetching thread...feel free to join me!

I've got a cold/sinus thing going on. Stuffy nose, draining down the back of my throat (so I have a sore throat). Niiiicceee.

Also, for the first time in my pregnant life, I'm experiencing sciatic nerve pain. Oh my gracious. It. hurts. I feel like I could fall over when I walk, it's much worse when I get up from sitting and move around. I called my chiro, but he's out of town until Thursday, so I've got a while to wait.

And, right now DS is flying off the handle b/c his building blocks are ticking him off.

do you have any saline nasal spray? We use a brand called Simply Saline (no preservatives or anything) I get it from Walgreen's. Its great stuff, I'd highly reccomend that to help with your nose. As far as the sore throat, try gargaling with warm salt water.

We did have some Simply Saline, I will have to get some more, especially since DH is suffering from the same cold.

Oh yuck, being sick when you are preg is the worst. We had the flu earlier this week and it's done but my allergies are causing the same nasal issues that you are having. I need to get more saline stuff for my neti pot.

I don't have a "cold" but I do have post-nasal drip and have had it during the entire pregnancy, so I sympathize!!!

Can you use Vicks Vapo-rub? Humidifiers are good too, especially at night!

I LIKE sIMILSAN'S NASAL SPRAY , or Xlear, plus warm salt water and baking soda gargle,, nasal irrigation is nice too, and I have used the oscillococcinum a few times when I feel my throat getting sore (it works great for me but not DH??).. hope you feel better soon...
