I rarely left the house when my twins were small, either. I didn't have to take my shirt off, but there was no way to nurse discretely or even comfortably in public. I do believe our culture has a long ways to go in normalizing breastfeeding, but I personally don't think we need to be so extreme as to make it legal for women to be sitting around topless in restaurants or public places. That is just unnecessary. We need to be accomadating, but not THAT accomadating.
Whatever it takes to keep the breastmilk flowing...
