Oh the horror

I just ate a half of a 9x13 pan of crispy rice treats.........they were tasty. I know I shouldn't have. I'm going to turn into a heffer at this rate......

I'm feeling down as no baby as of yet and due date come and gone 9/24 by the ob/gyn u/s, of course, now HBMW is saying maybe they'll go with my original date of 9/29 by ovulation/period .......so at least that's good.

My bishop's score is super negative, so the crispy rice treats were "cervical ripening treats" right???

Ah well, the kid will come eventually......

I love rice krispie treats made with peanut butter and chocolate chips. That sounds sooooo goood. And I could totally eat half a pan.

Can I have the other half a pan?

I love rice crispy treats...

I would have done the same thing with the rice crispy treats. Yesterday I was seriously craving twinkies. I don't think I've had one in 10 years, but I sure wanted one last night. I ignored it for awhile, then since there was nothing anywhere near cake in the house I had some dark chocolate with almonds. I could sure go for half a pan of something crispy, cakey and sweet right now.

Dashundqueen, I like how you turned the eating of rice crispy treats into a cervical-opening visualization. Keep this up (with all kinds of food you eat) and it will work eventually!

I rarely make those because I want to eat the whole pan too! I LOVE those things!

Rice is a grain, isn't it? Heck, that's practically health food!

I would make them at midnight so I could eat the whole pan while the kids and DH were sleeping :

I baked again...........

I made DH some chocolate chip cookies this morning. Nearly 4 dozen. He hasn't had any yet, as he's at work.

But of course, they're "cervical ripening cookies" so I am entitled to eat as many as I want.

DH's face went funny last night went I told him I'd eaten a half a pan of the crispy treats for dinner.......... He's really weirded out by eating dessert for dinner, hey it's not like I do it once a month, not pregnant even, oh well.

Ta ta.............I think I will have some more cookies now. Open, thin, open, thin, open, thin. I had a very serious talk with baby William last night. So I hope he knows I mean business about not being forced into an induction.

That's why everything I baked is in the freezer. The first batch of apple cinnamon muffins I made were gone the next day.

Yummmmm!!!!!

I did the same thing when I was almost due (hell the whole pregancy) with all my kids- Hang in there Mama! It's your body- be a heffer if you want!
Just kidding! Be happy and healthy, but allow thoes indulgences for pans of rice crispys and choc. cookies.

Open and Thin when baby is ready! Keep telling baby William that! Don't rush! THat is what the Doc's want. Stay happy with rice crispy's and cookies!
