What to do with re-useable packageing from things?

I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but what can I do with packaging for things that is reusable? Like the packaging for things like baby clothes, sheets, etc. The ones that have velcro or zippers or snaps and are usually clear plastic? Am I dumb for wanting to re use these? I just know they would be useful for something and I can't bring myself to just throw them out. I am like that with everything. I save baby food jars to freeze breastmilk!

Do you mean the vinyl packaging like what sheets come in or some children's toys? I let them off gas for a while in the garage and then use them for travelling stuff. Like they make a good small package carrier for a few items you want organized together.

If the smell does not go away after a long time in the garage, I pitch them and write the company complaining that they are using such obnoxious packaging. My mom got dd sheets and bedding from pottery barn recently and the vinyl packaging did not finish off gassing after a month. The sheets had to be washed numerous times to get the smell out. They were bad!:

I use the big plastic bags with zippers that sheets, etc come in to store things like extra sheets, games, crayons, hotel soaps & lotions (my DH travels a lot so we have tons of these things, and they get everywhere if I don't keep them all in one place.)

The bigger ones that blankets etc come in I use to store blankets under the beds, off season clothes & coats, etc.

I use those plastic things for the kids' games and puzzles. The boxes only last so long when your toddler likes to walk over them : I keep them in the linen closet or craft drawer and pull one out when another box has gone kaput. The smaller ones can hold puzzle pieces, and I cut the picture off the front of the box to stick in there as well.

I LOVE these, and actually ask for them on Freecycle and from friends. They're fantastic for storing things for travel, like toiletries or small electronic items with lots of accessories (camera stuff, etc.) and they're also great for packing subsets of toys for grandma's house or in the car or whatever. We use an empty king-sized sheet case for the 'baby emergency kit' and 'toddler emergency kit' in the car, which has extra diapers, cover, wipes, sippy/bottle, clothes, a couple of toys, etc. in it for extreme need.

The bigger ones we've used to pack away baby clothes that aren't being worn or winter bedding during the summer. They're more durable and stackable than ziplocks, and the price (ie. free!) is right.

I make math kits, literacy kits and some travel games out of the bags. I also save the plastic kids hangers, some shirts, lots of pants, and hang them in our hall closet.

I used to throw them out : , but started saving them to store stuff in. It really helps with clutter and organization.

I use them to carry toys when we go on the airplane. They are just the right size to fit easily in a backpack or tote and reasonably limit the amount of stuff we haul with us.
