EPO, fresh pineapple, spicy Indian food...

I've done it all today. Haven't done a TON of walking, and DH is working, so I don't think I can draw him into DTD. Maybe tomorrow morning...

I have had low ctx for the past 3 evenings, but I don't think anything is really happening.

40 weeks on Monday. Colleagues who are taking over my classes starting on Tuesday have stopped by my office to say, "So, do you want to just play it by ear?" Meaning, "Do I have to teach your classes next week?"

Uh, YES, you DO. I schedule 6 weeks of guest lecturers - you're the first week. I don't need to prep a class on Monday night for Tuesday, and then go into labor before I even give the class on Tuesday. Just stick to the schedule and let me (a) finish my other work, and (b) wash my baby dipes!

Sounds like my clients! I can't tell you how many emails I have gotten saying, "are you really not working at all for the next three months?" or "You can take just one more brief before you leave, right?"

Yes, I AM going to be gone for three months. You will have to do your own writing. Starting October 1. Like I told you back in JULY!! Deal with it.

I actually had one client tell me - after begging me to take just one more brief before I left on maternity leave - "you need to take care of yourself. You are pregnant!" Uh, DUH!!

Good luck getting labor started this weekend! We tried it all with dd. Including rides down bumpy roads, lots of walking, and clams (my massage therapist, who is from the Phillipines, swore that slippery foods make the baby come out faster ). A huge summer storm finally brought her into the world. Go figure.
