We turned on Noggin this am and it took about 10 mins to figure out why it was offair!
So, is anyone doing anything for this? We are just watching PBS instead but will play, as usual, later on.
What do you think of a television station hosting a day of play and going off air to encourage play? Kinda cool, I guess, but then again it is tv that interferes with play more than anything.

| As part of its ongoing commitment to putting kids and their health first, Nickelodeon is sponsoring the Fourth Annual Worldwide Day of Play. On Saturday, September 29, 2007, Nickelodeon will stop broadcasting for three hours (noon-3 p.m. ET) to encourage kids and families to get up, get outside, and play together. |
