Instead of tossing clothes, if you're crafty, you can make braided rugs out of scrap fabric, old clothes, old towels, etc. that you'd normally throw away. They're really easy to make and turn trash into something functional (yay, nothing in the landfill!).
I recently took two bags to the thrift of clothes of mine that I haven't worn in forever. They're cute and definitely have lots of life in them, but I promised myself that I would part with it all if I haven't worn it in a long time...and I finally did!
This month, I'd like to...
-- Go through ds's toys. I really, really do not like all the plastic toys, and I want to get more wooden/natural toys for the holidays and his birthday in January. Quality over quantity!
-- Go through our file boxes. I found papers recently from FOREVER ago...we do not need to save all that!
-- Go through my books.
-- List stuff to sell on eBay, craigslist, etc. I have a lot of clothes and stuff, and hopefully I can declutter AND make a little money.
