We bought a new Frigidaire front loading washing machine back at the end of February with the money we were going to use for an apartment deposit (we went into military housing instead, dh said this was a benefit to going into housing instead of getting an apartment.) This past week it stopped spinning, but somehow dh got it to spin (when I was doing a load of diapers) and we figured we might have to tinker with it while it's running. The user's manual says it won't spin if the load is too small (it's most definitely NOT too small), if you use too much detergent (also not true), or if you have the door open (that doesn't happen with the FL machines, and the manual online is for ALL of their washers, not particular models.) There's absolutely NO reason it shouldn't be spinning. I've run the washer 3 times with a full load of lights in it, in hopes that it will spin, but no luck. We don't have anywhere to hang the laundry and it's sopping wet. Now we have to trek down to a laundromat tomorrow to get our laundry done before Monday. This is farking ridiculous that it broke already!

Uhhh My washer has broken twice...both times when I was doing diapers. I burnt out the coupling because the diapers were so heavy. Hate to have bad news but it sounds like the same thing with yours. It would do everything but spin and the guy who fixed it said I needed to do smaller/lighter loads on regular agitate instead of the super fast one.
