Well, there must be a lot of pregnant women in Mexico.

My midwife and I went to Mexico today to shop and look around, and nobody said a WORD to me. Whee!

When my mw left tonight (she traveled here from out of town when I was about 38.5w and is staying in town til after the baby is born) she said, "Maybe I'll see you later tonight!" Honestly, I don't even feel close to giving birth. I feel exactly like I felt when I was like 25 or 30w pregnant. Baby is lower, but that's it.

Ha! You'd love it here(well at least the lack of attention.) It's like I'm invisible to the Americans here, there are so many pregnant women here. My CNM told me at my last appt that she sees 24 people a day. There are at least 6-8 providers at the clinic, so you can figure out how many people that adds up to. As a matter of fact, if I give birth there, I would probably have to share a room in couplet care-can you even imagine in this day and age?!
