I suggested they do a show about circumcision. I told them that it is a great topic and they could have a really good discusion to enlighten all of those out there who need it. (which is a whole lotta people) I hope they do it esp. because so many people watch the show. Wouldn't that be awesome!

They did do a show

They did a show about a mother who regretted circumcising her son. I believe it was in early May. Apparently they did little research and minimized her feelings and remorse. The overall tone was "Hey! It's no big deal! Get over it!" I know that there were many e-mails sent about it and it was raucously discussed at the Dr. Phil website. Other than giving a slight indication that there may be something to think about, the show was totally worthless.

Shame on Dr. Phil! It clearly showed that they did little or no real research on the issue. I haven't watched his show since and before that I watched the show several times a week. It isn't that I am boycotting the show or anything, I've just seen how poor the quality of the information presented there can be and have lost interest in the show. I now know that it's just entertainment, not an information source.

I remember a while back Oprah did a show on Female Genital Mutalation. Maybe she would do it. Although, she probably thinks it isn't the same.: Who am I to judge though, right?

I saw that show and am with Frank, Ive lost interest in dr. Phil after watching that one, he is also into cio. I e-mailed him about how disapointed I was about his take on circumcision and crying. We should start sending e-mails to Operah and get her to do a show on circumsion. (provided she is not for it).

Yes but knowing a lot of Dr. Phils skewed views on things the show may be nothing but promoting circumsision.
