Any Savannah/Providence (Frisco/Denton/Little Elm/Aubrey) area moms??

Hello all!!! I've been offline for an ETERNITY!! (probably about 3 wks) because we moved! SO, now we're up here in Aubrey (Savannah subdivision) and are putting out feelers for moms in the area...like Frisco/Savannah/Providence/Denton/Little Elm...I need to meet some moms/kids PRONTO!! I'm going insane....

hi there
I am in Celina, just north of Frisco. I have seen the sign to Aubrey, but we haven't made it there on any of our explorations. Would be up to the trip sometime, is there a park or anything near you?

YES! There's a green area at the end of our road, lakes (for catch/release fishing) and a playground that you can literally see from our house with some other play areas in close proximity!!

Hi right back! Yep, we are loving it!! We're getting ready to go fishing now...a couple of DS#1's friends want to go, but he wants to stay in....ugh...trying to convince him to go with...

oh just as a warning, watch out for those swans by the lake in the front office area, one of them attacked my ds and my dh when we went to play...they are MEAN birds!!

Whaaaaaaa?? Oooh, I'll have to keep my eye out for them...haven't seen any so far though thank goodness. We usually go to one of the back lakes to fish though, so maybe that's why??

They were EVERYWHERE when we lived there!! they may have gotten rid of them by now...when we were there the other lake was a dirt hole...

I wanted to bump this and ask if there are any more moms in that area

What has your experience been like living in Providence or Savannah? We are looking to buy a home and dont want to be swayed too much by the amenities and miss things we should be seeing that are not appealing

I'll be in Little Elm in May for a few weeks, then back in October for a year. I found a great group of Denton area moms here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DentonAP/ it is a private Yahoo group, so you have to submit an application. They have a weekly playgroup and seem like they are fun, although I haven't met any of them. Good luck in meeting new mama friends, maybe we can meet up when I 'm down that way.

I was a member of the Denton moms group. It was fun! They all got started from a LLL group
