With Lovely DH's help ( b/c I couldn't cut)
I made to freeze

tater tot casserole
lasagna roll ups
tuna noodle casserole
chicken noodle casserole ( fish is yucky)
potato soup

whew I was busy! plus the night before dh made
vegtable beef barley soup and we froze the leftovers

Wow, you were busy! If you have time would you mind sharing your recipes (esp. chicken noodle casserole and potato soup?).

Just curious.... do you live in the midwest? Those are some of my DH's favorite recipes. (I'm on the west coast and casseroles aren't as big here).

Nope I'm in the Seattle area but I grew up in the south. DH introduced me to tater tot casserole. yum!

Enjoy it while you can because after you have one child (and more) you will never have time again.... At least that is how I feel!

I have 2 kids atm, a 12 yr old I homeschool (w/ ADHD and lots of fun pre-teen arguments atm!) and instead of making seperate meals, I just make doubles of whatever I'm making and I freeze half. It doesnt take much longer and doesnt make much more of a mess and that way I can stock the freezer. Unfortunately every time I do that I get about a week and a half worth stored up and then get into lazy butt mode and we just live off the freezer for the next week and I have to start again.
