what healthy things are you snacking on?

I do a pretty good job with meals, but I need to get some healthier snacks in the house. I got some whole wheat crackers and bean dip, and that was pretty good. Baby carrots and purple grapes are always good and easy. I love Tilamook cheddar, especially when paired with an apple. I've always got some kind of nuts around. Organic fruit leathers are pretty good, too.

So, what are your favorite healthy snacks right now? I need ideas for my grocery list.

I bake garbanzo beans in a little olive oil and garlic until they are crunchy. I have those around a lot.

I guess I'm on a garbanzo bean kick right now because I also have been consuming mass quantities of hummus.

Yum hummus! I like to add some cucumber and feta on top of a rice cake.
I have also been craving bananas (with peanut butter and honey sandwichs),blueberries and apples. Yogurt too.

Oh, I've been putting cucumber and veggie cream cheese into a whole wheat pita...that's very good!

I am currently using my apple slicer on a daily basis. We got a huge sack of apples from the in-laws trees. I am trying to eat up the last of the cucumbers from our plant before it freezes.
I am going to try and talk my husband into making a few batches of waffles for the freezer this weekend. those have been great for breakfast that i dont have to cook.

Along with much of what has been said already, homemade sweet potato fries (baked) with yummy spices are so to me right now.

Though I just had chips and french onion dip, so, I probably shouldn't even be on this thread right now

apples apples apples all i want is apples
bananas help the nausea but apples go down nice

Ugh. Other than that, whole grain pasta with butter and freshly grated parm is all I can eat.

At least it's not cheeseburgers, right? (and as I typing the dreaded "c" word my stomach started to roll )

About the only healthy thing I have had today was probably a string cheese stick, other that that healthy foods are not settling good

I am getting lots of water in though! And no caffeine, so that counts, right?

I made homemade salsa. Yeah, the chips I put it on aren't great, but it could be a lot worse.

Lots of fruit - scuppernongs (during their brief season), Texas Ruby Red grapefruits. I'm sad the summer fruit season is over...

Popcorn - popped on the stovetop in olive oil with just a touch of salt. I've been eating it daily.

Hummus - it seems to take away the cheese craving since I can't have any cheese this time around.

Tomatoes and cucumbers are awfully good too...

Mmmm popcorn. Now I don't know whether to have pizza or popcorn. Decisions, decisions...

We're on our last good strawberries here, so I stocked up on those yesterday at this store. I got some flour tortilla chips for hummus and I got some celery (with peanut butter, yummy!). Some of you have far better ideas, especially since sandwich meats are out and I need lunch plus snacks everyday at work now. My appetite is out of control!

I've been eating

~tons of string cheese
~air popped popcorn topped with taco seasoning
~cucumbers, carrots, peppers and tomatoes with ranch
~edamame
~3 bean salad (green bean, kidney & garbanzo)

I've also been craving soups - chunky veggie, Amy's corn chowder, lentil soup

popcorn w/ taco seasoning... That's such a good idea! Sounds so yummy... How do you get the seasoning to stick though? I don't have an air popper, so there's already oil in the pan with the corn and I don't want to have to add more butter afterwards (although it'd certainly taste good ).
