Funny smelling boobs?

Sorry about this, but do you smell funny. I noticed that my bras smelled funny recently and I washed them all and am not wearing them now (line drying). Kind of like something and fermented milk? I am not sure if it is the cream I use or if this is a normal pregnancy-close-to-birth thing.

Yeah, the wire under my boob smells more like sour milk than sweat now. Sorry, tmi.

I dont know about smell, but I have these dark half circles that are red almost purple and dry under my boobs, and in general I cant stand my scent lately. I could wash 3 times a day and not feel clean (although my hair has not gotten greasy at all lately which is wierd...its usually the first sign that its time for a shower every day)

Maybe you have a little yeast going on? Is it a yeasty kind of smell?

This all definitely sounds like yeast. I have "large, pendulous breasts" when I'm NOT pregnant, and I colonise yeast there in general. After a shower, pat dry, then you can soak a paper towel in vinegar water and pat that under your boobs, then let it air dry. I usually skip the vinegar unless the yeast is really bad (peely and red). After that, I take the hair dryer on low and dry under my breasts, or I just stand in front of a fan and hold my breasts up so the fan can dry under there, and I put a powder under my boobs before I put a bra on. The MD who first diagnosed it in me told me to use Zeasorb powder, and also gave me a prescription for a cream called Lotrisone. The Lotrisone I only use when it gets really bad, but for the most part it's under control with just the powder. I don't even powder every day. The Zeasorb is on the pricy side of anti-fungal powders at about $8 a bottle, but it works. I haven't tried a generic since the one $8 will last me about six months or so.

I am looking into another way of controlling the yeast while I breastfeed, though, because I'm not sure I want my baby breathing in the powder. I might just do a vinegar "rinse" every day and blow dry it. Note, I only put all of these products in the crease under my breasts and in my cleavage. I have enough boob that none of it goes on or near my nipples.
