I realise this is probably a big ask but I would like to get my middle dd who is almost 7 a cookbook she can use. She loves cooking & would enjoy a book she could choose recipes out of & follow herself. All the kids cookbooks I have seen are very unTF friendly to say the least. Does anyone have any kids cookery books that are any good from a TF point of view they could recommend?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

It is not completely TF but a good one I can recommend for that age is The Little House Cookbook
, especially if she likes the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. My parents got it for me when I was 10 and I still have it. She has a sourdough recipe (how to catch the wild yeast), baked beans, fish recipes, etc. that are are very much TF.

the LIW cookbook looks wonderful...i may have to try it myself. i had to laugh (and share) that one of the reviews on Amazon states the recipes the reviewer had tried were tasty but not exactly healthy.
sounds pretty TF to me.

I have the Little House cook book and have been using it lately.
We just had the egg nog last light and I'm using the instructions to start my soughdough again. (I'm going to make their biscuits)
Some stuff may have to been adjusted to cook on a normal stove or with the pots and pans you have, but once you help her figure that out she should be good to go on her own.
