What are you going to do to support your children's health around the time that they get their vaccinations?

i've read about giving them extra folic acid and vitamins a and c, but I wasn't sure how much or for how long..

any other ideas?

High vitamin cod liver oil would be good because it has a lot of vit. A in it and the right proportion of vit. D. And you could give sodium ascorbate for vitamin C.

As far as how much and how long...these are supplements I give my kids every day. I give my 2 and 4-year-olds 1/2 teaspoon of clo. and the SA varies, if they are sick, several scoops a day. When they were babies, I let them lick the SA powder off of my finger.

Good luck figuring it all out!

I give DD vitamin C (liquid) the day before, the day of, and the day after her vaccination. So far it seems to do the trick. We have yet to have a vaccine related fever or anything along those lines. I also avoid feeding her unnecessary sugars or processed foods. We stick to all natural meals and avoid the treats (which we do anyway).
