Officially the first October overdue mamas thread

I knew I wasn't going to go early, but now the question is how late? I had my last regular appointment yesterday and declined the internal because at this point, I don't care. I just want it out. I went on a long walk with dh in a very hilly area and had some more decent contractions and feel pretty bruised this morning. I've got an NST on Thursday, but hopefully I won't make it until then. My sister's wedding is 10/13, which would be 42 weeks exactly by my 2nd dd of 9/29. Bah. Anyone else still cooking their little one?

Thanks! I'm not the only one, am I?

I was 40 weeks yesterday, Oct. 1, so does that make me overdue?

I tried many tricks this weekend, but now I'm just in my office trying to get work done. (On hold with my OB, trying to see if they received our Brith Preference list that was supposed to have been put in our charts weeks ago, but somehow wasn't there last week...).

DH says Thursday, so I guess that means more sex between now and then? And maybe another pineapple.

I was 40 weeks yesterday (or I will be Monday depending on who you talk to) but I'm in no rush for baby to come. We plan to take DS to the pumpkin patch on the 8th and there is a lot of walking and a bumpy hay ride so we will see how that goes.

I'm 43 weeks on Thursday. I've been in "early labor" since 6 last night though. Hopefully it'll pick up soon...

hmmm...I guess I'm sorta past my EDD of Oct 1 (by u/s and unadjusted LMP) but I'm just going with my original EDD of Oct 5, now
We'll see if my midwife agrees that it's a good idea, however, since she refused to listen right from the start that I knew when the baby was conceived...

My EDD was also 10/1. I've had contractions on and off; they were pretty consistent early on Saturday but, obviously, fizzled out. Doing okay physically for the most part, but REALLY struggling with the insomnia. I fall asleep, wake up and stay awake for a few hours, and then fall back asleep shortly before DS wakes up or it is time to go to work. : Concerned about this b/c I know it's not gonna be any better after the baby is here! Also concerned about having enough energy to get through labor, etc.
