No way!!!!!!! lol - I had a strange feeling that you were probably there based on how you said you were feeling - she was talking about you with me and I should have said something so we could have really met!!!! lol - did you see me trying my hypnobirthing focus/relaxation during the ctrx I had just before they called me back - lol - right as the wave of pressure was ending my dorky dh starting tapping my knee telling me about cool ideas he has for soccer practice this afternoon : - I was able to pull out of my "trance" pretty easily, maybe there is hope that I have done enough practicing to pull it off during labor

were you the person she was talking about "inducing" soon due to high blood pressure? Mine was up today - she tried stripping my membranes but there was nothing to strip - everything is favorable - I am going in tomorrow morning (or Thurs if there is no opening) to get my membranes ruptured - I am just feeling to miserable after 5 days of contracting non stop to do this any longer (I feel conflicted about my decision) - can't imagine going 2 wks like this!!

Do you live in WR too? We live in WR - over near Russell and 41 - but like you, would never choose to deliver here in WR for many many reasons -

small small world!!!!! Maybe we will see each other in the hospital too ? I wish now that I had paid more attention to who else was in the waiting room -

GRRR, I know I responded to this and then I came back on here and there was nothing. It ate my post!
Anyway... I knew it was you as soon as I sat down, but didn't say anything because I didn't want to seem like a stalker. I thought it was cute that your husband was carrying around a newspaper. Mine was at work, but calling incessantly.
The woman with high blood pressure was sent straight to the hospital. She looked freaked out all the way out of there.
I'm not thrilled about induction either because I really do believe in my body and know it can get the job done. BUT, I'm so exhausted after 2+ weeks of prodromal labor and severe insomnia. We're planning the same thing for me, avoiding pitocin if we can. I had the pitocin last time because my water broke and it took forever with no regualr contractions to get going. I was still able to pull through with no epidural. I credit JW for that! She is so awesome.
I got the last Thursday slot at the hosptal, btw I just hope I won't need it.
Oh yeah, we live about a mile away from you. How weird is that?!

My dh kept saying - you need to ask Jeri if that woman she is seeing after you is the woman from your message board - I said "how weird would that sound???" lol

I will definately ask her about you when I am in the hospital though -

I wonder which of us will deliver first ??????? hmmmmmmmmm

We live in the Oxton subdivision - that is so so funny that you live so close!
