I LOVE this thread. So, so inspiring.

My house is decluttered compared to what it use to be, but by no means clean. ;)

I haven't vacuumed in a week and there are dishes in the sink. Ignore the dust, LOL!

Eat in kitchen, very minimal, I love it!

The rest if the kitchen, most used space in the house.  

Couldn't get a good photo of the kids bathroom, but it is very plain. Just the map shower curtain and my 3 year old's "Earth". ;)

Messiest room, but the 4 kids have to have toys someplace. ;) No one sleeps in the bed, so I don't bother making it.

School room. Current things on the table, couch and TV are also in this room, used during baby's nap time.

The green chair is where I sit with the laptop, hang out at night when kiddos are in bed, etc. It's my office while I am pregnant, due in Dec. ;)

The artwork needs to go on the wall. I will put baby's things in the dresser and add the changing pad to the top of this dresser. Maybe hang a mobile from the ceiling there. Time to start nesting!

I've been lurking and looking at photos here for months, but never posted my pics, I figured it's time :)

We live in a 3 bedroom apt with my dh and 3 kids. The youngest sleeps with us for now, but will join her sister in her room soon. My ds has his own room. I've always been pretty organized, but kids sure go out of their way to make it as challenging as possible, lol! I purge out stuff regularly, plus do a big annual purge where I literally go nuts (usually send my kids to grandparents for the day).

I'm not sure how big our apt. is, but if I estimate to be around 1200 sq. feet.

Living room

Eat in kitchen with kids' table which we also use for crafts

Table (art will go on top of table), Fridge and pantry (an old Ikea wardrobe, had it for a while and when we moved we noticed it would fit that space perfectly)

Girls' room, bunk bed (ds sleeps on the top bunk now, while the baby is still with us)

Storage (the cart holds all the playmobil people and polly pockets-- can't give those up :))

These are mostly my youngest' toys and the dollhouse my dh made for them

These next pics are ds' room, consider them as "before" pics, I have some purging to do :)

desk/ lego display shelf- when our youngest will move to her sister's bunk bed, he will get a loft bed on top of the desk

bathroom (will try to spruce it up a bit, maybe new curtain plus art work)

And that is my home! Hope you guys enjoyed it. I always think of it as a work in progress but I do love it clean and simple. We feel like we have enough space (most of our cupboards still have empty space/shelves) even though it's considered a small home for a family of 5.

Beautiful Kuba's Mama!  I can't imagine apartment living because I live in a highly seasonal place -- summer is shorts and winter is definitely parkas. I need someplace to totally swap out our wardrobes.

Thanks... um, we live in Canada, lol :)

Actually, for the kids they pretty much get new winter clothes every year or two anyway... if they still fit I keep the snowsuits either on the far side of the closet or on the top shelf. As for dh and I, we do put our winter clothes at our inlaws` for the summer (they have a big house and they don`t mind at all). It`s only about 1 or 2 jackets max each though.

so what about skis? skates? snowshovels? (i guess you probably don't shovel).

yea, and don`t ski either :) but skates are alright we have space for those. Before you ask, there is room for bicycles down in the lobby

Hey, fellow Canuck! We lived in the Beaches for years, High Park for a while, and now we're in Pickering. Nice to see a (kind of) local mama! 

I wanted to ask, where did you get the cool owl poster in the kid's room?

Hello there :)

Owls are kind of my thing, lol. I have some ceramic ones strewn about the living room too, if you can see that. The big poster in the girls' room is actually from Ikea (12 bucks!) and it's not even "just" a poster, it's like a plaque :) Can't beat the price. The "endangered owl" poster my son has is actually free from a conservation area we often go to (it has a cool bird of prey sanctuary; it's called Mountsberg, if you're interested :)

Now I'm scrolling back thinking, "owl poster? what owl poster?"  LOVE it. Will keep my eye out for it next time I go to Ikea.

Our office before and afters.  It's our only 'storage' room (we live in a mobile home) and it definitely got too cluttered to live with.  3 recycling bags, 2 garbage bags, and 4 donation boxes later, we have our office back.

Ooh! Just stumbled upon this thread. We're prepping to list our house. Wish I had before pics, but the decluttered spaces is heavenly. I (almost) don't want to move! Will come back with pics.

Thanks.    I felt a bit embarassed to post the before pictures, but the after has a much bigger impact that way.  I love our office now.
