Great post! I totally agree with you that looking at pictures that are "real" and not "model home" are essential to knowing how people truly live. I think the pictures in magazines like Better Homes and Gardens are beautiful, of course, but not realistic, and probably not even ideal.

Keep the real pictures coming!

Wow, these photo's are amazing and inspiring! I have a tiny house and I am always feeling like we are busting at the seems. I really am excited to get organizing so I can post photo's too.

I wish I had taken 'before' pics. No one would believe it was the same house. This is the only time I've ever gotten it completely picked up without shoving everything into closets and boxes!

we are 5 in a 900sf apartment. we use what is supposed to be the master bedroom as a playroom, and we have a family bedroom instead. The shelf in the livingroom photo is coming down and being replaced by a picture of some sort.
