My living room (sorry so dark!):

Kitchen (only real clutter is on the fridge, mostly DD's art):

DD's room (it actually stays this clean consistently, we just put her toys and books away in the closet every evening before bed and she has to put things back when she's done with them before she plays with something else):

These were all I had available at the time taking the pictures. Lounge is a frequent messy place, but uncluttered. Bedroom comes and goes lol.
Beautiful! I love your colors, and it feels so serene.

Argonaut and Sugar and Sun, beautiful!

Now I'm feeling really inspired to catch up on all the stuff that's collected over the past few days!

The rooms in my house are very small so it makes it hard to look really clutter free. I feel like I am constantly going through stuff and getting rid of unnecessaries.

The pics from my basement are old (as you can tell by the Christmas tree!!!), but it looks about the same!

This is our playroom. We just had new carpet put in . . . the rest of the house is hardwood, but this room had an extension put on with just plywood for the floor. Since we play most of the time in the room, we went with carpet.

It's not always this neat and tidy but because there's not much there, we can clean up pretty quickly. There's empty space for the future--all the big kids' toys which would normally be in here (Legos, KNEX, etc.) are up in their room until DS2 is old enough not to eat everything in sight. Someday they'll come back down.

Nathansmum, I love your pics! What is that piece of artwork above your couch...a canvas with something glued on? It is beautiful!

Everyone's houses are so clutter-free! LUCKY! We are in a disaster area- construction, baby stuff, tiles, blankets on the couch, books (although in bookcases) all over the house... *sigh* Someday, SOMEDAY I will have a nice clean organized house to post pictures of!

Thanks! I made it. I painted a large piece of MDF wood in a very dark chocolate brown and glued some Paua shells on (NZ shellfish shell pieces).

My ds wants to know (as we sit here and look at these beautiful pictures), "Mom, why don't we have a nice and clean pretty house like those people?"

That's bad, huh? I'm talking about my 3yo here...

I"m going to post my own pics here in a bit (although my DP will probably think I have lost it) but I was wondering...

beansavi, where did you get that rug? I love it!

Edited:
OK, I went to take pictures and realized that my house is not nearly as clean as I thought it was. It's called delusional.

Your living area swirly-do wall hanging is so feminine and your kitchen looks like a great place for a cup of tea!

At a yard sale! the lady next door moved into a retirement home...

But it is an LL Bean indoor-outdoor braided rug. It was exactly the same colors as our living room!

...and believe me...indoor-outdoor is just my style with three kids and a puppy....and a dh. I can seriously hose it off if I have to, but it feels like acrylic yarn.
