These were all I had available at the time taking the pictures. Lounge is a frequent messy place, but uncluttered. Bedroom comes and goes lol.

This is our playroom. We just had new carpet put in . . . the rest of the house is hardwood, but this room had an extension put on with just plywood for the floor. Since we play most of the time in the room, we went with carpet.

It's not always this neat and tidy but because there's not much there, we can clean up pretty quickly. There's empty space for the future--all the big kids' toys which would normally be in here (Legos, KNEX, etc.) are up in their room until DS2 is old enough not to eat everything in sight. Someday they'll come back down.

Everyone's houses are so clutter-free! LUCKY! We are in a disaster area- construction, baby stuff, tiles, blankets on the couch, books (although in bookcases) all over the house... *sigh* Someday, SOMEDAY I will have a nice clean organized house to post pictures of!

Thanks! I made it. I painted a large piece of MDF wood in a very dark chocolate brown and glued some Paua shells on (NZ shellfish shell pieces).

At a yard sale! the lady next door moved into a retirement home...

But it is an LL Bean indoor-outdoor braided rug. It was exactly the same colors as our living room!

...and believe me...indoor-outdoor is just my style with three kids and a puppy....and a dh. I can seriously hose it off if I have to, but it feels like acrylic yarn.
