Here's my house... certainly not clutter-free but it's cozy.

Lovely! I the Klimt print in your living room. Do you happen to remember where you got your TV stand? I'm looking for something similar and haven't been able to find anything quite like that.

So sorry I'm only now seeing this.

It's really very easy.

Felt 100% wool sweaters in the wash.

Cut into 2x2ish inch squares. Push them onto a wire coat hanger. Bend a loop at the top, add a ribbon and hang.

Easy Peasy.

It's from Target... it was flat packed with a bajillion pieces and I "built" it myself.

Hey I'm back with another reno. This time it's the master bedroom. We actually finished it a month ago but my camera was away getting fixed.

Before the reno I had my clothes in my daughter's closet as dh's clothes take up the entire master bedroom closet. He built me a captain's bed that has 6 drawers underneath for all my clothes. It's much better now and cleaning the room is a breeze. Nice and minimalist. It could use some art on the walls though.

Here's the link.

I have that exact same quilt in my bedroom.

Yay! I have been working on making our basement into a useable space. Today I built a wooden shelf unit to store all of the kids' toys down there!

Erin I like the shelving. How did you attach the cross braces to the uprights? It looks like maybe some kind of hardware?

Thanks. I haddn't seen that one before. It IS inspiring!

DH and I just spent the whole day working on our house. Today's done was the not so glamorous task of fixing damaged gutters and making a rain-catchment system. No pics to share yet...

Great pics, frontier! I love that your partner's loungin' in the chair, too. That makes it all the more real.

For some reason I hadn't noticed this thread before! But WOW!!! I'm really glad I did... it's been really inspiring going through it and seeing all your beautiful homes!! I started to make a note of all the rooms that I wanted to comment on but the list would be an essay lol... so thanks everyone... as soon as I finish writing this I'm going to try and sort out my downstairs... if I manage it I'll take some photos!!

wow, some awesome homes on this thread! I posted near the beginning somewhere and just this year have updated several of the rooms and moved things around as the kids get older. Must take new pics and post them. I feel my home is so much more homely now as well even though I loved it back then too. guess over time things have just naturally evolved as have my tastes.

Have painted all our bedrooms (last paintwork was when we moved in here 6yrs ago), have rearranged the kids play area at one end of the lounge, have rearranged my dining/entry and added more personal touches such as house plants, purchased new curtains in the lounge and our bedroom (the ones we got 6yrs ago were just calico cheapies that were starting to look a bit grotty).

I recently upgraded my son from a crib to a bed. This necessitated a lot of rearranging, so I thought I'd post some updated pictures. It still feels a bit cluttered to me, but it's a little kids room so what can you do? Also, it's a small space and very narrow, only 9 by 12 feet.
