What should your cervix feel like after you conceive?

Once again- trying not to get my hopes up, but with NFP I do cervical checks most every day. Today my cervix took on a swollen feeling- could this mean anything? I am on day 28, which is the day I started spotting last month, but my cycles haven't been very consistent over the summer. Probably not, I don't feel pregnant and I am trying not to think about it. Any input?

I wish I knew. I'm waiting to see what peoples' responses are. I am still confused about the whole cervix thing anyway. I think mine might be too high to reach sometimes, but now that OV is past, I am very closed off *down there*, but not necessarily by the cervix!?! : It's confusing to me.

With my first pg, my cervix was so hard to track during the 2WW. It was up, down; high, low; flabby feeling; got kind of oval-shaped for a while. It was a major clue that something was up because that was so different than my usual LP.

With my second pg, it did the same things I guess but a cervix that has been through a delivery is just, well, different than the first time around so I wasn't sure whether it was from pg or just from its new condition.

HTH - Good luck!!

Well, today my cervix seem to be back to normal and my temp dropped. AF hasn't arrived yet but I am sure I will see her any time. This is the first month that my temp has dropped before I even started spotting- kinda weird. One more month down. Our next try will be month 6- bummer!

I was curious and checked mine a couple of days ago. It was moist, soft and very high

Got BFP today (10 DPO)

Oh, man I FINALLY figured out where my cervix is. I thought I couldn't reach it, but then it dawned on me that the vaginal opening isn't perfectly straight. It feels firm and closed. I am hoping there's still a chance that I'm pregnant.

When I was about 6 weeks pregnant with ds my cervix got very sensitive. It hurt when bumped or touched, if you get my drift. I don't know about so soon after ovulation and I wish I did know!

Hmm, as of the last two days it is fairly soft now & a lot more moisture (TMI). I am 6DPO.
