after 3 boys we're having a GIRL!!!!!!!

You could have knocked me over with a feather at the ultrasound today. And I'm not ashamed to admit I burst into tears when the tech told us. I adore my boys and I would have been thrilled with another but I'm so glad I get to experience the mother/daughter relationship with my own daughter. I can't wait to meet her!!

Congratulations!!! You are going to have so much fun picking out girlie stuff this time. My SIL has 3 older brothers that are very protective of her. In high school, boys knew better than to mess with her as they would have 3 big, angry brothers to deal with. I'm happy for you!

So cool!

I had the opposite experience, I had three girls first and then had a boy. So I know the joy of having daughters, and I understand the excitement of having the opposite gender after having several of the first. I'm so happy for you!

congratulations! And congratulations on finding out at the scan too- when DD was born, she was 5 minutes old before we discovered she didn't have a willy, and 3 months old before I stopped holding a muslin up as a shield when changing nappies

Congratulations!!! I also have the oppisite. We have three beautiful girls, but I would love a boy (yes, I would love a girl too of course, but somehow I always pictured myself as the mother of boys and I wound up with a bunch of beautiful girlies instead )
