Is this your safe MDC haven? - Page 3

Rebecca, I've been trying to get exactly this point across when I got a warning by the mod of that particular forum. That's why I started this thread cause I was bummed about the whole situation.
My dh would be fine with a homebirth now but for the last two he would have been absolutely uncomfortable with the situation. Why would I run over him making a decision when I know my main labor support is going to have a hard time keeping it together and I couldn't count on him?

Anyhoo, I am just surprised at how some people on other forums make sure they come across super-liberal and laid back but only if you share their views.
I am very thankful to have found MDC, I felt like an alien before and thought whole America is mainstream and made out of flame and law sue retardant plastic, lol. I have found so much info here to back up my instincts and knowing there are likeminded people has gotten me thru some rough stretches of being homesick for Germany.
But I have gotten a strong feeling that since I signed up there are more and more members who are just way too militant when it comes to crunchiness and claim this wonderful, once so openminded spot for themselves.
You guys here are wonderful and I am also very active in the Nov DDC and will keep it that way until my hormones have settled down and I can look over how some members on MDC are just rude sometimes.

Yep, I'm glad I'm not married to them!
