Names? Have you decided yet? - Page 4

Amelia Helen. We had decided on Amelia before I was pregnant, and originally her middle name would have been Jane, same as my mom, but my sister had a baby in May and used Jane for the mn, so I decided not to use it. Helen came about simply because my husband LOVES it, and I couldn't come up with an argument against it. I tried to embrace it for a first name, but I just couldn't do it.

His whole family has repeatedly said they want to call her Mia, like "Princess Mia" from "The Princess Diaries", but I honestly don't care for Mia as a nickname for Amelia, and we'll be calling her Mimi for short-his family is welcome to follow suit or call her Amelia.

How did I miss this?!

I'm not changing the girls name! I actually think its really cool that we both have the same girl name picked out. (even though everyone thinks this babe is a boy for me )

My childrens names are a bit unique (or were) as I really just can't stand ordinary names personally.

This babes name will be Persephone or Odin.

We hadn't shared the names with anyone but our children... and my 4 yo blabbed the names to our entire family the other day. :

The girls name was easy.. boy name was more difficult. I hadn't even settled on Odin, but my 4 yo started using it... and it grew on us a lot.
