I too am pregnant by 038 from Midwest and am due July 3rd. Is anyone on here from the Babycenter board? There are several over there as well. He's one lucky guy! Someone mentioned in a previous post that 038 wasn't available at that time. Is his supply running low? My partner and I are thinking about storing some for possible future use. Good luck everyone!

Not 038 but we used MSB with great results (Due July 15), and just wanted to give you a big old Mothering Welcome!!!

Hi everyone. I just ordered my first batch of swimmers from Midwest and they should be here an the 26th. I believe i'll probably O around the 28th. I'm so nervous, excited, anxious, you name it i'm feeling it LOL. I am using 038. I've heard some amazing things about that donor. I really hope I get that nice BFP to really give me a happy newyear I'm so very ready. I chat at the babycenter group too and heard there were a few midwest and 038 folks over here too so I thought I would sneak on over. Looking forward to chatting with all of you.

Can you get ICI semen from this bank or only IUI? And what's the ICI cost?

I'm pretty sure just IUI but i'm using it the same way I would ICI. According to everything i've read you can use it either way. I sure hope that's right LOL.

Very curious about this whole sperm bank thing. Can I ask, since some of you have used donor 038, does that mean your kids are like half sisters/half brothers because they have the same sperm donor "bio father"?

(sorry if thats a stupid question..it probably is..hm)

Yes, they would be biological half siblings. My baby to be will have bio half siblings from the same donor.

One of my chat friends said that there were some Midwest gals over here so I wanted to say hello! I am currently 18 weeks pregnant using donor 038! I get to find out what the gender is on Jan 3rd! We are very excited about that!! It is great to see other 038 mama's out there and other happy Midwest users! They are a great place and super supportive!! It's kinda funny, that makes 3 Amber's using 038 I hope I can be the 3rd one with a BFP on the first try. I'm doing my first insem sometime next week. Probably around the 30th. or 29th or 31st LOL. I am so nervous.

I'm using midwest for the first time. I love that Joanne lets you know if your top choices are effective or not so much. I'll be trying with donor #44 early next week.

mj74nanny My two vials of donor 44 will arrive tomorrow!! We should insem on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is our second attempt with this donor and our 6th attempt overall. Donor 44 has the best counts I've used so far - over 40 million motile sperm per vial, not just per ml. I think I had a chemical pregnancy with this donor last month because af was 3 days late and my temps were very high. I so hope this second try sticks. This donor has 3 kids listed at donor sibling registry - all boys. I got an email from one of the mothers. She conceived and miscarried on her 3rd cycle, then conceived again twins on her 4th cycle.

There is a woman on another board that conceived with donor 044 on her first try. She's about 6 weeks now and there is a woman who had a baby girl in Oct. from donor 044 too.

We almost went with 44, but decided on 197. He has 70% post thaw! SOO much better than what we were getting with Fairfax.

we also used 197....the numbers were 55 & 56 million with an 85% motily. Just found out a few days ago that I am pregnant!! Apparently this guy has an amazing track record.
