EBF and AF every two weeks?

I hope this is in the right place, but my DS is 10 weeks old. I had my first pp AF at 8 weeks (much to my shock and disappointment) and here I am at 10 weeks and starting ANOTHER one. I can't find much information online and thought that perhaps you wonderful ladies here would have a few thoughts on the matter.
Some information:
-I feed on cue, not a schedule.
-I DID start the mini pill at 7 weeks pp. And I am seriously thinking that this might be the issue, since I was on it a week before the first pp AF.
-We moved two weeks ago and are living with my parents until our house sells. (Stress?)

I'm not going to stop BFing because of this, but I am curious if there are options out there or if the mini pill is the issue here. I know that many of you here are against hormonal BC and maybe I'm headed that way. However, I would like to know some of my other options (other than condoms, IUDs, ect.) I'm thinking of looking into Natural Family Planning, but don't know how well that works while breastfeeding. Any help, information or other options are appreciated!

Sorry if this is disjointed, fussy baby!
TIA

It's most likely the pill that's the issue. Did you miss one or take it at a different time? Another possibility, the 8 weeks period was a little renewed postpartum bleeding. 8 weeks isn't long. Moving and stress could do it. If you have concerns and/or things continue to be weird, you might want to get checked for cysts or fibroids (both relatively minor issues) to rule those kind of things out. But if you're on the pill, that tends to trump natural body cues so it's the most likely cause. Breastfeeding can cause you to not have periods, have irregular cycles, or have cycles but not ovulate. But the pill overrides that and causes no ovulation and triggers periods with the hormone drop on the placebo part of the pack.

There are many factors are involved in the return of fertility. If your baby sleeps through the night or uses a pacifier, these might be reasons. Since estogen is stored in fat, if you are on the heavy side this might be a factor.

I used natural family planning to prevent and plan pregnancies for years. It was pretty easy for me because my fertility signs were obvious and it wasn't a problem for me to take my temperature every morning and do the charting. I had fertility problems and got pregnant 6 times using charting, I lost 3 of the pregnancies. I liked the control of knowing what was going on with my body. There weren't home pregnancy tests then but with charting you know you are pregnant from your temperatures (at least I did).

It's not for everyone. You can do it while breastfeeding.

What you are having while on the pill isn't really the same as a period. It shouldn't cause any problem with breastfeeding. If it is very important for you to not get pregnany then staying on the pill may be a good option for you at this time. It is not good for your body to have babies close together and you may experience milk supply problems if you get pregnant and your baby my wean.
