What's your favorite movie?well, I have many but Steel Magnolias is one of my absolute favorites but my ability to watch it has changed since becoming a Mother. The scene in the cemetery with Sally Fields absolutely breaks my heart every time.

How did you and dh met? the summer I was 16 my very great friends parents went away for the summer and left him home with his 21 yr old sister checking in occasionally (can you imagine? he was 16 too) and it was the same group of us partying : there every night until one night a friends older brother stopped by with most beautiful boy I'd ever laid eyes on. it was dh and that was 16 years ago. we've been together since. we made it through his going away to college and then mine

What did you have for breakfast? I haven't eaten yet , but I'm gonna have to soon I'm feelin' gaggy

Coffee or tea? I love both~~ I love flavored coffees, my favorite is a choc. raspberry. Always light and sweet. I love tea on a cool day with whole milk and a drop of sugar~ its how I drank it when I was little.
Though right now I'm just kiinda letting myself have a coffee a week or so. I'd rather save my caffeine intake for chocolate

What is your favorite room in the house?ooooh thats hard. I admit my kids have amazing rooms, the way they are set and decorated and their things are surrounding me when I'm in there... well its like that in everyroom really , but I also love our front room, the walls are red and we have a really beautiful antique mantel and wood stove with windows on either side. its cozy and warm and full of pictures

Your guilty pleasure? the office, lost~~ hello!February!!!??? telling dh I'm 'running out' and then not returning for a few hours~ don't flame me, I take my phone. I spend faaar too much money on children's clothing. Brother -sister outfits. I'm also addicted to paper and laundry detergent.

Your talent(s)? ummm... I'm crafty. I can usually talk myself out of any situation... should I be admitting that?

When was the last time you rode a bicycle? a few weeks ago when we were at our family cabin, I didn't go far as I wanted to prove it wasn't a big deal. I do have a bike and love to ride it though. But I don't ride it enough.

What the title of the last book that really had you engrossed? I read. ALOT. But this summer I read The Time Travelers Wife and I have to say it is the best book I have read in years. I absolutely loooved it. I mourned finishing it and grieved for a couple weeks before I could start another. It was wonderful.

So you have a drink next to you? What is it? ice water. Always ice water.

What's your favorite season?I love fall and everything it brings~ the crispy weather and foliage, pumpkins and woodstove fires... but I've lived in New England my entire life and would never choose to leave. I *need* my seasons, I love each one and am ready to enjoy the next by the time it rolls around.

Beach or the mountains I do have a love affair with the mountains but by the ocean is my favorite place to be.

FAvorite cartoon character and why? I *loved* the smurfs and watched in sat mornings faithfully as a kid. My bff and I were just talking about this so it's fresh in my mind . She was a constant in my childhood and she and the smurfs are kinda wrapped up in one . Boy she'd love that . I also loved Underdog and Mighty Mouse and vintage Scooby Doo.

If you could meet anyone in History who and why? My fathers father. I'd hope that meeting would answer a lot of questions. Also my maternal great-grandmother~~ I only know her by stories. And frankly... I'm jealous!!

describe your dream vacation well, currently, I would loooooove to be able to bring our dc to Disney. I wish we could afford to, they are 4.5 and almost 7 and want to go so badly. I do too. Right now thats our vaca goal .

Do you like to shop if so for what I'll admit it here. I have a problem with shopping. Not that we can afford a problem such as this mind you. I only buy on sale, or second hand but still.... Clothes for my kids are my downfall. Cloth diapers are a close second and I think I mentioned my strange attraction to paper and laundry detergent. Not quite sure what thats about :.

Your favorite food? I'm craving some creamy mashed potatoes right now .

Favorite movieI think I mentioned Steel Magnolias before but ds and I watched The Grinch (w/ Jim Carey) yest. and I remembered how much I loooove that movie. I know lots of people think its blasphemous but I adore it.
