I've told my midwife just to plan on staying til Cmas

Seriously, I used to worry that I'd go into labor BEFORE she got here.

Now it's been like 10 days and I'm not feeling any closer to labor than I was 10 WEEKS ago, and I've told her just to buy a house because she's staying forever.

How far away from home is she? That is so nice that she travels to be with you. Do you have to pay extra?!

I keep thinking about you! You never know, it will just happen and hopefully quickly!

She's about 2000 miles from home. And I paid her up front for about 2-2.5w traveling and hotel, so *hopefully* I won't owe extra. If I hit 41w I'll start thinking about a vag exam and maybe doing something a little active to get things going.

I just feel guilty because you know I live in a REALLY small town, so there just isn't much to DO here for her, and she has her 2 kids with her. My kids would be bored like crazy and climbing the walls.

Aw, hoping your little girl decides to make her exit soon!

Y'know, I had a dream a few months ago that it was Christmas and I was still pregnant. I have been telling myself since that it just can't happen. :

That must be frustrating. I'm sorry.

Yeah, I had a nasty 24h cold -- and then I hoped it was just my body getting ready. HA. HA. HA.

I am thinking of having a go at nipple stimulation cause I just can't take these darn starts and stops.

I'll join in being pregnant till December...

My mantra right now is "I will not be pregant forever. I will not be pregnant forever..."

I've been listening to the "Come OUT Baby" CD by Hypnobabies several times a day... Not sure if it's doing anything besides putting me to sleep.

OK, off now to "descend my beautiful golden staircase...."

LOL Erika you always crack me up with your threads. I'm sure your baby will come very soon, I'm sending baby-having vibes your way.

I feel need to mention, though, I started one of those Expectnet.com baby pools, And my stepdad made a guess for December 10th! I told him I'd better not still be pregnant in December. Turns out he'd just clicked the wrong thing in his guess, and he really thinks November 10th, but it was still pretty funny.

Okay, back to you. Come baby come!

You know, I don't dare say stuff like this in front of dh. He seems to take great pleasure in reminding me that elephants gestate for 18 months.

I weigh almost as much as he does now, so if he says it again, I am going to sit on him.

my current mantra is "I will not go into labor until my aquarium tubing gets here."

How else can I use the pool?

I was laboring in my pool as we were sending my mom to the pet store in search of a pump and some of that tubing! Thankfully we were just thinking of getting the water OUT (which worked fine with the other hoses we had - RV hoses) and not IN!
