Jeez, even my deaf father-in-law is in on it!

I just got a call from my deaf fil, which means not only did I have to tell him No, I'm not in labor, I had to scream NO I'M NOT IN LABOR so he could hear me. Yes, everyone in the free world now knows, I'm not in labor yet!

A few days ago I called to talk to my mom and my dad answered and *he* asked me if I'm having any contractions. I was like, "Et tu, Brute?!?!?!"

My dh and my midwife and all of our kids went to a county fair that is almost 2h away, so clearly nobody thinks I'm going into labor. Like EVER.

Oh! I thought this said your DEAD fil. I was like, "What? Did she get some piece of mail from him that had been lost??"

I stopped answering my phone unless it's dh, my parents (who never call), or my sil (UBAC'er). Anyone else can leave a message!

crashing the ddc here...sry...

i just have to say how emotionally involved i am in all these "overdue" and "late" pregnancy folks! i got to nearly 43 weeks on my 3rd babe, when i was so sure i'd go early. i was a basket case, and it cost me my UC : trust in your body, trust inthe universe, and i'm hoping for you all that you get the birth you want!!

What I hate is everyone (MIL, FIL, neighbors) asking me if I'm effaced and how many centimeters dilated I am. None of their business and my MW isn't checking anyway! I'm not asking them personal questions!

I'd be annoyed too.

I had my MIL call the other night from the US to ask if anything was happening yet. I'm not due until the end of the month.

I have also been asked a few times when I'm getting induced by others.

Hmm somehow this has made me feel .

Just because I was induced with DS doesn't mean that its going to happen again. I'd like it not to happen again : oh please just to spite them

Sorry Mamas.

I'm on the other end right now. Noone *ever* seems to call me. I haven't spoken to mil in weeks and noone really calls or even asks if they do.
BUT everywhere I go in our little town I get bombarded!

I guess there is one advantage to not having told many people you are pregnant. I have had no one calling to see if I am in labor yet.

But, everytime I go into Court, everyone keeps doing a Count down and asking so you have X days left. It is starting to get to be a really funny joke.
