Ridges/bumps something on my stomach???

Ok so I noticed a few days ago that my stomach was feeling a little different..and it is getting worse...

Below my belly button about 2-3 inches below I have a spot that is about 5-6 inches across and 5-6 vertically that feels harder under the skin and kinda feels like cellulite some kind of ridges or bumps...in that area it is also kinda sensitive to the touch...

I have never heard of this and I am wanting to call doc but I hate to do that unless I really need to...especially since I have an appt tomorrow...

But in the same sense it is driving me crazy....it is only in the center...the sides of my stomach are not that way...and I cant see down there very well cause im huge right now but what I can see you can even SEE the ripply look on it...I might try to take a photo of it to see if I can show..

Any ideas what this might be? Should I worry? Should I call doc tonight or wait till my appt tomorrow morning?

ETA: I am 38 weeks and 3 days along right now

ETA: A few pics...they are kinda gross though--not showing anything but tummy and panties but...my tummy looks icky LOL

I've gotten that towards the end with all three pregnancies---sort of pinkish in color as well. It went away a few weeks postpartum. My midwives never commented on it, so I never worried about it. I'm guessing it's just some kind of hormonal thing??

Thanks for the reply Heather, that makes me feel alot better. I will mention it to Doc tomorrow just to make sure it is nothing, but definately makes me not worry about calling tonight

I have a similar thing going on in the same area. I assumed it was belly fat being squished out between my giant uterus and skin. :

Just got back from Doc a bit ago...he said that is is Adema (swelling basically) from excess water and usual around this time in a pregnancy and thinks that it is worse right now for me due to the few REALLY hot days we have been having...said it might get a touch better when it cools down (tonight it is supposed to cool off and stay cooled off, but we shall see LOL)...if not it will go away after the baby.

I am 1-2 cm dialated & cervix is almost ready he said...and since this morning I have been having ALOT of contrax....nothing really regular yet, but he noticed them on my NST and mentioned things might be happening sooner than later...soooo I might have a baby soon...maybe LOL
