Went in for today's BPP and AFI check, and they could only find 2.8cm of fluid around the baby. Sent me home long enough to get my suitcase, then I'm checking back into the hospital this afternoon. They're going to re-check the fluid levels tomorrow afternoon, and if it's still this low, then we'll probably go ahead with the c-section.
I know AFI isn't the most accurate test, and I don't HAVE to consent to anything, but I can kind of tell by the size and shape of my belly, and the way I'm feeling her movements, the fluid IS kinda low. Maybe (probably) not as low as they think, but lower than normal. So I'm not opposed to going back in for monitoring, other than the sheer boredom of being stuck in the hospital. I'm just hoping I can down enough water to get the fluid level up and buy another week or 2. I'm 34w3d now, so not terribly early, she'll be fine in the long run, but a NICU stay is still extremely likely. Fun fun. She is measuring big, for what that's worth, and I got the steroid shots last time I was in the hospital, so maybe we'll get lucky, who knows?
Wish me luck! I'll check in from the hospital on the laptop I'm sure.
