Hi my friend just asked me to help her during her birth. I have never helped anyone in birth but I can't say no to my friend. is there anything i can read to better prepare?

I guess she wants me to help her be more comfortable throughout the process so that she can do her best.

Read the Birth Partner, newest edition. I think it's Penney Simpkin, but my copy was recently not returned so I can't check at the moment....

^^^ Yes, that's it. My friend who came to my UC birth read it for a refresher on the birth process and all of the pain relief suggestions.
